Submissions to the Breaking News section of WatertownDailyTimes.com will be reviewed for news value, accuracy and taste before they are posted. Submissions must include a legitimate return email address, name and phone number to be used for verification if needed by the Times. Calendar
Send information about events for Looking Ahead in the Times Currents section at least two weeks in advance. Please include all important information about the event, the name and daytime telephone number of a contact person, and a return e-mail address.

News
Send news tips, story ideas and press releases about North Country people, businesses and events. Include the name and daytime telephone number of a contact person and a return e-mail address. (Anyone under 18 years of age should consult parents before sending any information.)

Sports
Send information about registrations, tournaments, meetings and the like by noon Friday for publication in the Sunday Sports Bulletin Board. Please include the name and daytime telephone number of a contact person, and a return e-mail address. Coaches may also submit rosters, schedules and other information about their teams.

Letters from the People
Letters from the People, published on The Times opinion pages, should be no more than 400 words long. Only letters accompanied by a complete address, telephone number, and return e-mail address will be published. Only letters written directly to The Times will be considered for publication. (Anyone under 18 years of age should consult parents before sending any information)

ANNOUNCEMENTS

PDF Engagement Form
Engagement announcements are printed every Sunday. Photos of either the bride-to-be or the engaged couple will be accepted. Engagement announcements and photos must be submitted to either the Times's main office 260 Washington St., Watertown, or the office at 17 Main St., Canton, fax (315) 661-2523, by 2 p.m. Friday for publication at the end of the following week.

PDF Wedding Form
Wedding announcements are printed every Friday. Weddings older than six months will be printed in an abbreviated version without the photo. Wedding announcements and photos must be submitted by 2p.m. Friday for publication at the end of the following Friday. Submit information and photos to either the Times's main office 260 Washington St., Watertown, or the office at 17 Main St., Canton. Fax (315) 661-2523.

PDF Anniversary Form
Anniversary announcements are printed every Saturday. Couples must be married at least 20 years for inclusion on the anniversary page. Photographs will not be used before the 25th wedding anniversary. Anniversary announcements must be submitted to either the Times's main office 260 Washington St., Watertown, or the office at 17 Main St., Canton, fax (315) 661-2523, by 2 p.m. Friday for publication at the end of the following week.
