ADAMS — Courtney Cavalier chipped the ball over Cazenovia goalie Jamie Enders with 30 seconds left in the second sudden-death overtime period for her second goal of the game to lift the second-seeded South Jefferson girls soccer team to 3-2 win over the No. 7 seed in a Section 3 Class B quarterfinal on Friday afternoon.

Morgan Alexander also netted a goal for the Spartans (14-2). Mikaela Rutter handed out a pair of assists.

South Jefferson will face No. 3 Clinton on Tuesday at a place and time to be determined.

Lauren Mapstone and Kelsey Henderson scored for the Lakers (9-6-3).

FULTON 1, INDIAN RIVER 0

Katelyn Caza scored the game’s only goal as the No. 5 Red Raiders edged the fourth-seeded Red Raiders in Section 3 Class A quarterfinal matchup at Philadelphia.

Allyson Bricker stopped all four shots she faced for Fulton (11-4-2), which faces top-seeded Whitesboro on Tuesday.

Lakeisha Barnes made five saves for Indian River (10-5-2).

CAMDEN 7, WATERTOWN 1

Michaela Soules struck for five goals to power the No. 3 Blue Devils to a Class A quarterfinal victory over the No. 6 Cyclones at Camden.

“We knew (Soules) was good because we played Camden earlier in the season, but we could not stop her,” Watertown coach Mike VanNostrand said. “She was beating everybody; she was tough.”

Karly Keil added a goal and an assist, and Elaina Sherwood also scored.

Goalie Cassilyn Wolff stopped eight shots for Camden (12-4-1).

Miranda Gilbert scored on an assist from Morgan Cadwell in the second half for Watertown (9-5-4).

POLAND 4, SACKETS HARBOR 0

Mikayla Blumenstock’s hat trick led the top-seeded Tornadoes to a Class D quarterfinal victory over the No. 8 Patriots in Poland.

Paige Sullivan chipped in a pair of assists for Poland (16-1).

Sackets Harbor finished the season at 10-8.

BOYS SOCCER

COPENHAGEN 4, MCGRAW 0

Christian Johnson registered two goals as the No. 3. Golden Knights earned a Class D-1 quarterfinal victory over the No. 6 Eagles at Copenhagen.

Antonio Figueroa and Brenden Jacobs also scored, and Logan Marolf and Kody Petrus each supplied an assist. Petrus made four saves for Copenhagen (15-1-1).

Goalie Ryan White stopped four shots for McGraw (12-3-1).

LYME 3, REMSEN 0

Mark Parker scored a first-half hat trick as the No. 5 Indians blanked the fourth-seeded Rams in a Class D-2 quarterfinal at SUNYIT in Utica.

Caden Sanford assisted on two of the goals for Lyme (10-6), which faces top-seeded Old Forge on Monday at a time and place to be determined.

Sebastian Bullard made 16 saves for Remsen (6-6-4).

MOUNT MARKHAM 3, LOWVILLE 2 (OT)

Travis Beach scored 12:53 into the first overtime as the No. 6 Mustangs upset the third-seeded Red Raiders in a Section 3 Class C quarterfinal contest in Lowville.

Tyler Plows generated a pair of goals for Mount Markham (11-5-2).

Noak Ahlberg had a pair of goals for Lowville (12-4-2).

FABIUS-POMPEY 1, THOUSAND ISLANDS 0 (OT)

Colton McDevitt scored the game-winner in overtime as the No. 2 Falcons edged the seventh-seeded Vikings in a Class C quarterfinal in Fabius.

Matt Perry notched the shutout with seven saves for Fabius-Pompey (15-2-0).

Cameron Robbins collected six saves for Thousand Islands (11-5-2).
