Hang Thai Nguyen, Canton, and Timothy R. Burr, Gouverneur, were married at 3 p.m. Sept. 23 in Las Vegas, Nev., with the Rev. Sara K. Caruso officiating.

The bride is the daughter of Son Thanh Nguyen and Thy Thi Duong, Canton. The groom is the son of Janice E. Burr, Gouverneur, and the late Maynard Burr Jr.

A reception was held at Smith and Woleski’s Restaurant, Las Vegas. The couple spent their honeymoon in Las Vegas.

Mrs. Burr is self-employed in Canton.

Mr. Burr graduated from Gouverneur Central School. He is self-employed in Gouverneur.

The couple resides in Gouverneur.
