PARISH — Mr. and Mrs. Richard Lee Bradley, 115 White Road, observed their 50th wedding anniversary Thursday.

Mr. Bradley, son of the late Walter Rutherford and Gladys Mae (Merkley) Bradley, and Rose Marie Perry, daughter of the late Charles F. and Thelma (Wheeler) Perry, were married on Sept. 27, 1962, at the Baptist Parsonage, Canton, with the Rev. Herman Underwood officiating. Honor attendants were Harold Mathews, Canton, and the late Shirley Mathews.

Mr. Bradley attended Madrid-Waddington Central School, Madrid, and served three years in the Army, one of which was spent in Korea. He has held several maintenance and mechanical positions with various companies. Mr. Bradley has been a member of American Legion Post 601 for 15 years and has raced lawn mowers as a hobby for three years.

Mrs. Bradley attended Canton Central School. She has been a homemaker and employed in child care. She enjoys reading, doing word search books and spending time with her grandchildren.

The couple has one daughter, Sylvia Mae Bradley and her companion, Mark Furman, York, Pa.; three sons and a daughter-in-law, Richard K. and his companion, Patsy Yingling, York, Donald and Michelle, Mexico, and Kevin W. Parish; eight grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren. A daughter, Janet Bradley, is deceased.
