POTSDAM Clarkson University once again was placed on a list of the most military-friendly schools in the country.
Victory Media, which publishes G.I. Jobs magazine, placed Clarkson on its Military Friendly Schools List for 2013 after finding its military and veterans programs outstanding among peer institutions.
The magazine gave Clarkson high marks for a strong, venerable ROTC program, veterans counseling services and an on-campus student veterans association.
The university was an early adopter of the Yellow Ribbon program, which provides full tuition benefits to qualifying post-Sept. 11 active-duty service members.
It also provides assistance to veterans in maximizing the use of their G.I. Bill benefits.
The school has made G.I. Jobs list for the past two years.
