Sophomore striker Morgan Kiernan of the Jefferson Community College women’s soccer team was named JCC athlete of the week for the week ending Sept. 16.

A 2011 graduate of Copenhagen Central School, Kiernan scored three goals in a Region 3 win against aginst Cayuga Community College. A team co-captain and leader, she also is tied for the team lead in points.
