COPENHAGEN — Sisters Logan Wheeler and Mackenzie Wheeler combined for the game-winning goal as Copenhagen edged Lowville, 2-1 in double overtime on Wednesday in a girls soccer crossover game in the Frontier League.

Logan Wheeler finished off a crossing pass from Mackenzie Wheeler in the 96th minute to lift the Golden Knights (5-1-0) to victory. Logan Wheeler also assisted on Maci Spaulding’s goal that tied the game at one in the 43rd minute.

Goalkeeper Lindsey Fitzpatrick made four saves for Copenhagen.

Isabelle Hanno scored an unassisted goal in the first half for Lowville (1-3-1) and goalie Alexa Yousey made six saves.

SACKETS HARBOR 3, BEAVER RIVER 2

Diana Dotson finished off a pass from Rainy Johannssen and scored with eight seconds left in regulation to lift the host Patriots to a crossover triumph.

Jordan Gonseth also scored for Sackets Harbor (4-1) and goalie Olivia Martin made nine saves, including one on a breakaway in the first half.

Reagan Becker and Malori Mattimore each scored in the second half for the Beavers to tie the score. Goalie Jen Fidler had seven stops.

SOUTH LEWIS 2, ALEXANDRIA 1 (2 OT)

Jenna Rogers scored in the 93rd minute with Rachel Newell assisting on the goal as the Falcons edged the Purple Ghosts in a crossover game in Alexandria Bayd.

Miranda Rys made five saves, including stopping a penalty shot in the second half, to earn the win for South Lewis (4-2).

Rachael Calhoun finished with 22 saves for Alexandria (2-4).

SANDY CREEK 3, LYME 0

The Comets received a goal from three different players in recording a crossover victory in Chaumont.

Chelsea Claflin, Kylee Martin and Hannah Horth each scored a goal for Sandy Creek (5-0-1).

Goalie McKenna Guarasce made five saves to post the win. Lauren Campbell made 13 saves for the Indians (2-3-1).

THOUSAND ISLANDS 4, BELLEVILLE HENDERSON 0

Morgan Robbins struck for two goals as the Vikings earned a crossover win over the Panthers (0-6) at Belleville.

Katelyn Docteur pitched in with a goal and an assist, and Brook Garrett also scored for Thousand Islands (5-0-1, 4-0-1).

INDIAN RIVER 3, WATERTOWN 0

Caitlin Pacilio supplied two second-half goals to help power the Warriors to an “A” Division victory over the Cyclones (3-3-1, 2-2-1) at Philadelphia.

Emily Kuba scored on a penalty kick, Kelsi Nabywaniec recorded an assist, and Lakeisha Barnes made five saves for Indian River (4-3, 4-2).

Carthage 2, A-P-W 1

Cassie Birth scored the tie-breaking goal in the second half as the Comets won a crossover game at Parish.

Paige Kaune also scored for Carthage (2-2-1) and goalie Haley Ryan made five saves. Kylee Bartlett scored for the Rebels (1-5) in the first half.

SOUTH JEFFERSON 3, GENERAL BROWN 0

The Spartans remained unbeaten with a “B” Division win at Dexter.

Courtney Cavellier scored in the first half, and Morgan Alexander and Alyssa Nappi added second-half goals for South Jefferson (6-0, 5-0).

General Brown fell to 0-7.
