Watertown- Robert H. Bellinger, 66, died September 16, at the Emergency Room of the Samaritan Medical Center.

He was born April 21, 1946, in Brownville, the son of Allan and Mary Loomis Bellinger. He attended local schools and served in the US Army from September 1966 to September 1972. Bob was a self employed carpenter in the Jefferson County for many years.

He married Justina Amo, September 8, 1978, in Watertown.

He was a member of the Sackets Harbor American Legion Post.

Bob is survived by his wife Tina; daughter and her husband, Melissa and Nicholas Anderson, Dexter; two sons, Justin and Patrick Bellinger, both of Watertown; two grandchildren, Rhiannon and Matthew Bellinger, both of Dexter; two sisters, Lucy and John Angus, Dexter and Linda Cantwell, Clayton; three brothers Rodger and Mary Bellinger, Minn., Allan Bellinger, Watertown and Fredrick Loomis, Fulton; several nieces and nephews.

Memorial donations may be made in his memory to, American Heart Association.

A funeral service will be Thursday Sept. 20 at 10:00 AM at the Cleveland Funeral Home, Watertown. Calling hours will be Wednesday Sept. 19 from 2 – 4 and 6 - 8 at the funeral home.
