Karen L. (Cowan) Clary, 66, formerly of Lacona, N.Y., passed away at her home in Pulaski on Aug. 22, 2012. She was born Jan. 6, 1946, in Syracuse, the daughter of the late Artman and Sara Austin Cowan. She graduated from Sandy Creek High School in 1964.
Survived by her husband, Earl W. Clary of Pulaski; two sons, Bill Rowell of Sandy Creek and James Rowell of Harrisburg, Pa., one sister, Linda Cowan of Mt. Dora, Fl., three brothers, Bert Cowen of Sandy Creek, and Spencer and David Cowan of Eustis, Fl., 7 grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Predeceased by a brother, Austin Cowan.
Per Karens wishes, there will be no funeral or calling hours. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Friends of Oswego County Hospice, P.O. Box 102, Oswego, N.Y. 13126. Arrangements by Summerville Funeral Home in Sandy Creek.
