WATSON Carissa G. Blair, 31, Lowville, was arrested Tuesday after state police said she defied stay-away terms of a Family Court order of protection by being with her 13-year-old son.
Charged with second-degree criminal contempt, she was released without bail following arraignment in town of Watson Court. Police said she was in a vehicle with her son while the court order requires her to stay away from her children, who are in the custody of their grandparents.
The arrest was her third in about nine months involving the family situation. In December, she was cited with child endangerment, resisting arrest, harassment and unlawful possession of marijuana, and in January, she was charged with criminal contempt and two counts of child endangerment. The January incident involved her 4-month-old daughter.
