A woman was taken to Samaritan Medical Center Tuesday afternoon after she experienced chest pains subsequent to a two vehicle collision in the 300 block of Franklin Street.
Kimberly M. Trainham, 46, address not provided, was treated and released, according to the hospital.
Police said she was riding in a pickup being driven north by Charles E. McIntyre, 62, of 619 Bronson St., when at about 3:25 p.m. he struck the rear of a stopped car, operated by Kristin L. Petrie, 30, of 342 Franklin St. Ms. Petrie was preparing to turn left into her driveway, police said.
Mr. McIntyre told police his trucks brakes suddenly failed. No summonses were issued.
