Ogdensburg’s Jake Morley, the Clarkson University men’s hockey team captain last season, has signed with the East Coast Hockey League’s Idaho Steelheads, the team announed Monday.

Morley played four years for the Golden Knights, finishing with 20 goals and 30 assists for 50 points. He played for the American Hockey League’s Springfield Falcons last spring out of college.

Morley, 24, won Clarkson’s Mike Morrison Coaches Award for teamwork, hustle and dedication, and the team’s Ironman Award last season.

“Jake comes highly recommended and will be a great teammate here in Boise,” said Idaho coach Brad Ralph. “He’s a big, strong power forward who plays with an edge that should have a lot of success on this level.”
