ALEXANDRIA BAY Krystal R. Sutton, 36, County Route 1, was treated at Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown, for cuts on her right leg Sunday night which she suffered when the personal watercraft she was operating at Goose Bay was struck by a boat operated by her husband, according to the Jefferson County Sheriffs Department.
An 8-year-old girl who was riding with Mrs. Sutton was not injured, deputies reported.
The accident occurred shortly before 6:30 p.m. when, due to an apparent mechanical issue, Mrs. Suttons watercraft stopped, according to sheriffs office. Her husband, Terrence M. Sutton, 49, who was on a boat behind his wife, was unable to maneuver around the disabled craft, deputies reported.
