CARTHAGE — Nicole M. Pitts, 33, Philadelphia, was arraigned on petit larceny charges Aug. 13 in Carthage Village Court.

Ms. Pitts was charged by Carthage police, who said she wrote four checks to Carthage Market and two to Simon’s Agway from a closed account.

She was released on her own recognizance and is to return to Village Court.
