DWI - WADDINGTON - St. Lawrence County Sheriff’ s Department deputies charged Shawn A. McGowan, 30, of Brewster, Maine, formerly of Potsdam, with driving while intoxicated following a traffic stop early Sunday morning on state Route 37 in the town of Waddington. He was also ticketed for moving from lane unsafelyr. McGowan had a reported blood alcoholcontent of 0.16 percent.
