CANTON — The St. Lawrence University team began football practice on Monday in preparation for the 2012 season.

Playing at the Division III level and in the Liberty League, the Saints open the season on Sept. 1 with a road game at Utica College at 7 p.m.

St. Lawrence opens its home schedule on Sept. 8 against Norwich at 1 p.m.
