OGDENSBURG The citys newest business enables its patrons to boost the local economy and look good doing it.
Busy Corner Tanning, 230 Ford St., opened July 23. Co-owner Caitlin E. Morgan hopes the business will be as successful and energizing to downtown as the one she and her husband, Keith, started six years ago, Busy Corner Cafe at 234 Ford St.
I think its important, Mrs. Morgan said of the need for a vibrant downtown. It gets people walking around. Anything is good.
Located in a former doctors office, Busy Corner Tanning has separate rooms for three stand-up chambers and two beds for lying down.
One tanning session is 10 to 20 minutes long. Rates are $4.50 for a partial standing session, $5 for a lying-down session, $6 for a full standing session, $25 for 10 lying-down sessions, $35 for 10 standing sessions, $45 for 20 lying-down sessions and $55 for 20 standing sessions.
Hours are 9:30 a.m. to 6:30 p.m. Monday through Friday and 8 a.m. to noon Saturday and Sunday.
