Rochester NY- Died at home with family on July 12, 2012. Born in Dover, New Hampshire, on February 19, 1926 to Rev. David and Georgianna Pearson. Married to Rev. Russell Champlin 12/27/53 until his death in 2010. Survived by daughters Deborah (Michael) Cougler, Rebecca (David) Cougler- Meeks, and Dorothea, grandchildren Brianna, Aaron, Kelsey, Hailey and David James as well as nieces, nephew, great nephews and nieces and friends.

She graduated from Lesley College in 1952 and was a sought after substitute teacher in the Watertown School District for 20+ years. In addition, she was a long time board member and support group facilitator at the Jefferson County Women’s Center. She also supported and assisted her husband in his 40+ year ministry.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made in her name to the Alzheimer’s Association or the Episcopal Relief Fund.

A Memorial service will be held at Trinity Episcopal Church 227 Sherman Street, Watertown on Saturday, September 22nd at 2pm.
