OSWEGATCHIE — State police charged Robert L. Murphy, 54, Main Street, Morristown, with felony driving while intoxicated at 3:45 a.m. Tuesday.

Troopers said he was not injured when he crashed his car while traveling on Haggert Road in Oswegatchie.

He was charged with a felony because he had a previous DWI conviction within the past 10 years. He also was cited with failure to keep right.

His BAC was listed as 0.16 percent. A BAC level of 0.08 percent or more is considered proof of intoxication under state law.
