FUGITIVE FROM JUSTICE - CANTON— A Canton woman wanted for crimes in Nebraska was charged Thursday with being a fugitive from justice by St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s Department deputies.

Connie J. May, 37, of 17 Commerce Lane, was wanted on a warrant for issuing bad checks in Platte County, Neb., deputies said.

Ms. May was arraigned in Canton Town Court and sent to the St. Lawrence County Correctional Facility.

Further court action will follow.
