PETIT LARCENY - MASSENA - Village police charged Cody T. Brothers, 16, of 10 Dodge St., Massena, with petit larceny Sunday.

He allegedly stole his stepfather’s Playstation 3 game and sold it to Robert E. “Junior” Wilson Jr. for $50.

Brothers reportedly took the Playstation from Lester Clarke at 3 p.m. Saturday and approached Mr. Wilson with an offer to sell the game to him for $100 or $70. Mr. Wilson eventually agreed to buy the Playstation for $50 after Brothers told him he was selling it because the paddles were broken.

“I was home and about to hang out with some friends. Since I had no money to do anything, I decided to take my stepfather’s Playstation 3 console and try to sell it for some money,” he noted in his statement to police.

He said after selling the Playstation he went with his friends to the On A Roll deli to buy some food and drinks.
