SYRACUSE — Justin Pugh, the starting left tackle on the Syracuse University football team, will miss preseason training camp due to an upper-body injury, coach Doug Marrone said on Brent Axe’s TV and radio show on Monday.

Pugh, entering his senior season, has started all 25 games for the Orange over the last two years. He was a first-team All Big East selection last season, and was named to the second team in 2010.

Pugh was injured toward the end of spring practice, and did not play in the team’s annual spring game in April.
