The Seaway Festival Parade float from St. Joseph’s Home, Ogdensburg, showed off the helicopter owned by Richardson and Sons that will be used in the nursing home’s annual golf ball drop. The golf ball drop will be held Saturday at 1 p.m. at Father Martin Field, Paterson Street. The golf ball that lands closest to the golf marker will receive the grand prize of $1,000. The second closest will get $200 while third place will be $100. Tickets are $5 each and can be purchased at the reception desk at St. Joseph’s Home, 950 Linden St., or at scheduled times this July at Kinney Drugs and Walmart.
