NORTH LAWRENCE — Edward A. Briel, 17, of 690 County Route 51, was charged by state police at 3 p.m. Thursday with second-degree burglary, unauthorized use of a vehicle, driving without a license and unsafe movement of a stopped motor vehicle.

He is accused of taking the keys to his uncle’s truck at 689 County Route 51 and of “peeling out” and doing “burnouts” in the vehicle.
