Re-enactors from Sundays Founders Day event at Fort LaPresentation will walk today from Lighthouse Point to Library Park to shop at the Ogdensburg GreenMarket.
Each year the re-enactors, dressed in period clothing, walk to Library Park to shop for freshly baked goods, vegetables, and fruits and meats.
This has become an annual tradition that we all look forward to, said Greater Ogdensburg Chamber of Commerce Executive Director GreenMarket Manager Sandra Porter.
Marsha Hough of the Fort la Presentation Association has been organizing this outing for the last four years.
The GreenMarket will be open this Saturday from 8:30 a.m. to 1 p.m., opening a little earlier this week to accommodate the re-enactors.
This week, the market introduces a new vendor, Nola Davey, selling all natural soaps, aprons and bibs.
All of the regular vendors will be at market selling the seasons freshest produce as well as arts and crafts .
