Vose Donald Shattuck Vose, 62, of Cheyenne, Wyoming passed over peacefully at the Davis Hospice in Cheyenne on July 17, 2012.
Born in Troy, NY Son of the late Hilton and Lillian Shattuck of Sackets Harbor, NY, father of Gregory Shattuck/Fran, Brandon King and Amanda Vredenburgh/Jake, Sister Cathy Ginn/Bruce, Brother Hilton Shattuck/Sandy, nephews and nieces Kirk Ginn, Tammy Lobdell, and Scott, Jason and Shannon Shattuck.
Vose graduated from Sackets Harbor High School and pursued a career as a millwright and carpenter. He was a member of the United Brotherhood of Carpenters and Joiners Local 278.
An avid motorcycle enthusiast, outdoorsman, animal lover and craftsman, Vose enjoyed people and traveling on his motorcycle. He was a free spirit always fighting for what he believed in.
Vose was predeceased by his loving wife Serina in 2006, and later moved out west to Cheyenne from New York State to follow his dreams and hoped someday to return to his beloved New York State Adirondack Park. Vose is now everywhere in any heart that will hold him dear in some special way.
Voses family would like to thank his friends in Cheyenne and in New York and the wonderful people at the Davis Hospice Center at 6000 Sycamore Rd, Cheyenne, WY 82009 where donations may be made in his memory. A memorial service notice will be posted at a later date.
