The following were charged with driving while intoxicated and related offenses:

■ Cody J. Amidon, 21, of 6334 E. Main St., Turin, was charged by Lewis County sheriff’s deputies with felony aggravated DWI, third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle, unlawful possession of marijuana, reckless driving, speed not reasonable or prudent, failure to stop at a stop sign, failure to keep right and refusal to submit to a breath test at 8:43 p.m. Thursday at the Stewart’s Shop on Route 12 in Lyons Falls.

He was arraigned in Turin Town Court and sent to Lewis County jail, Lowville, on $5,000 bail.

Mr. Amidon had a blood alcohol content of 0.19 percent, deputies said. State law says a BAC of 0.08 percent or higher constitutes intoxication, while the state threshold for aggravated DWI is 0.18 percent.

The felony charge stemmed from a prior DWI conviction in June 2009, according to deputies.

Deputies said they responded to a call about a van driving recklessly with occupants leaning out open side doors on Pearl Street in Port Leyden, and located the vehicle at Stewart’s.

■ Brett L. Logan, 23, of 558 Route 11C, Winthrop, also was charged Thursday by state police with operating an all-terrain vehicle on a closed road, having an inadequate muffler, having no insurance and driving without registration.

Troopers said they received numerous reports of an ATV driving recklessly on Route 11C in Brasher Falls and found Mr. Logan at the Riverview Bar & Restaurant. His BAC was 0.14 percent, police said.

Charged with driving while ability impaired by alcohol:

■ Daniel A. Louise, 20, of 816 Franklin St., also was charged by Jefferson County sheriff’s deputies with crossing road hazard markings and failing to notify of an address change at 1:10 a.m. Friday on Route 3 in the town of Hounsfield. His BAC was 0.07 percent, deputies said.
