AGGRAVATED DWI - POTSDAM - Canton-based state police charged Shawn M. Thornton, 29, of Potsdam with aggravated driving while intoxicated and ticketed him for failure to keep right following a traffic stop at 5:18 a.m. Sunday on the Leary Road in the town of Potsdam.

DWI - CONSTABLE - Malone-based state police charged Ronald Patrick, 41, of Dollard Des-Ormeaux with driving while intoxicated and refusal to take a breath test following a traffic stop at 2:22 a.m. Sunday on state Route 30 in the town of Constable.

PROBATION VIOLATION - MALONE - Malone-based state police charged Shane M. Lauzon, 21, of Constable. He was sent back to the Franklin County Jail. Luazon had previously been charged with third-degree assault, second-degree criminal trespass, fourth-degree criminal mischief - preventing an emergency phone call, criminal mischief - damaging property and endangering the welfare of a child.
