The Beech Plains Union Church located at West Pierrepont in the town of Pierrepont has become unsafe to occupy because of failing flooring timbers.

Although this church hasn’t held services for several years, a group of local citizens and ongoing Beech Plains Church Ladies Aid group are very much interested in restoring this dear old church so it once again can be used.

This church next to the Beech Plains Cemetery was built by local residents in 1875 and has a great history involving the community and residents.

We are actively looking into what will be needed to restore this dear old church so it can once again be used by the public. We are starting fund drives to come up with needed financing, and you will be seeing and hearing more as we progress.
