NORWOOD—Graveside services for 89 year old Martha C. Thivierge, Baldwin Acres, Norwood, will be held in St. Michael’s Cemetery, Fine, NY at a later date. There will be no calling hours. Mrs. Thivierge passed away Thursday morning at her home. Martha is survived by her daughter, Debra Sears and Steven McFadden, Potsdam; two grandchildren and one great-grandchild. Martha is also survived by two sisters, Rose Gleaton, Virginia and Elizabeth Williams of North Carolina. She was pre-deceased by her husband Albert, a son Lawrence in 1998 and brothers Albert, Frank, Tony, Michael and a sister, Mary Vitile.

Born in Utica, NY on January 26, 1923 to the late Palmer and Elizabeth Deconde Pimpinella, she married Albert Thivierge on January 18, 1946. Albert passed away on December 24, 1980. Martha was a homemaker and enjoyed solving puzzles, doing embroidery and cooking. Memorial Donations can be made to Hospice and Palliative Care.
