DWI - WADDINGTON — Massena-based state police charged William E. Vice, 36, of 15 Tamarack St., Massena, with a misdemeanor count of driving while intoxicated at 12:43 a.m. Friday

Vice was stopped at a border patrol checkpoint on state Route 37 in the town of Waddington.

His BAC was not listed, troopers said.

PETIT LARCENY - Massena-based state police charged Adam W. Baxter, 33, of 250 Main St., Massena, with petit larceny Thursday following an investigation into the theft of scrap metal, a John Deere attachment and a snowblower attachment April 4 from the town of Norfolk. The items were valued at approximately $500, troopers said.

UNLAWFUL POSSESSION - MALONE - Malone-based state police charged Andrew K. Lester, 23, of Constable with unlawful possession of marijuana following a traffic stop at 3:25 a.m. Saturday on Morton Street in the village of Malone. He was also ticketed for operating a vehicle with inadequate stop lamps and for failing to notify the Department of Motor Vehicles of an address change.

PROPERTY DAMAGE ACCIDENTS - MASSENA - Troopers investigated several property damage accidents Thursday night and early Friday morning. They included:

■ Charles O. McGee, 53, of Masssena at 9:45 p.m. Thursday on state Route 310 near Pearson Road in the town of Potsdam.

■ Brandon J. Crinklaw, 23, of North Lawrence at 10:55 p.m. Thursday on County Route 49 near Hurley Road in the town of Stockholm.

■ Ashley M. Wilson, 24, of Brasher Falls at 11:49 p.m. Thursday on Hall Road near the Hall Road Extension in the town of Massena.

■ Gary P. Hendricks, 44, of Massena at 3:48 a.m. Friday on North Raquette River Road near the O’Neil Road in the town of Massena.
