ELMIRA Brandon Cipolla belted a solo home run in the top of the fifth inning to give the Watertown Wizards a 7-2 Perfect Game Collegiate League Baseball victory over the Elmira Pioneers to end a four-game losing streak on Friday.
Cipolla delivered three hits for Watertown (6-8). Nick Bradley earned the win after tossing seven innings and striking out six. Former Lowville product and catcher A.J. Capone threw out two baserunners.
Stephen Clout drove in both runs for Elmira (5-10) as John Melville took the loss.
The Wizards return home to the Alex T. Duffy Fairgrounds tonight to face the Oneonta Outlaws at 7. Watertown is 2-7 at home this season.
