LAFARGEVILLE — Joseph M. Abbate, 24, of 23234 Hunter Road, was arrested Thursday by state police on a charge of aggravated harassment.

He is accused of making threatening phone calls to his cousin, Jay Burrows, police said.

Orleans Town Justice Richard W. Hardy released him on $500 bail.
