Watertown City School District Superintendent Terry N. Fralick is not sure yet how he is going to approach finding a new high school principal, but he assures there will be someone sitting in Principal Lloyd L. Pecks office in the fall.
Mr. Peck is leaving the school June 30 to become Chenango Forks Central School Districts new superintendent.
Mr. Fralick also is finding out whether Mr. Pecks pay will end on his last day at the district.
Were working with our labor relations director to determine retroactive pay, Mr. Fralick said. I cant answer that question yet.
His goal is to have the position filled by Aug. 1.
If he decides to look for a tenure track principal right away, the candidates will be determined by a committee of administrators, board members and teachers over the summer.
