CANTON — Several businesses near Main Street and Riverside Drive are without power this afternoon after an accident involving a worker and a utility pole.

The worker was treated for minor injuries.

Crews said that the businesses at the Riverside Drive-Main Street intersection would have their power restored before 5 p.m. Buildings down Riverside Drive could be without power until 6 or 7 p.m.

The businesses lost power at about 3 p.m. Riverside Drive is closed from State Street to Main Street because of the accident.
