CANTON — The Children’s Home of Jefferson County’s Foster Care Program will hold St. Lawrence County parent certification training beginning at 6 p.m. Thursday at the Human Service Center, 80 Route 310.

The training is completed over 10 weeks, after which a decision is made regarding certification.

In addition, all foster parents are required to be certified in CPR and first aid and attend other training on meeting the needs of foster children.
