CONTROLLED SUBSTANCE - MASSENA - Village police charged Nolan P. Mitchell, 22, of 6 Maple St., Massena, with third-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance. He reportedly sold oxycontin to another person on Nov. 20. The number of pills sold was not included in court documents. He was arraigned by Massena Village Justice Eric J. Gustafson and released under the supervision of the probation department.
