PETIT LARCENY - MASSENA - Massena-based state police charged Amanda L. Walker, 22, and Angela A. Brewer, 23, both of Potsdam, were charged with petit larceny and sixth-degree conspiracy at 8:30 p.m. Friday following an alleged shoplifting incident at Hannaford’s Supermarket in Massena.

Walker and Brewerallegedly stole several Maybeline cosmetic items, a pair of sunglasses, and a Durex Lovebox containing condoms. The total value of the items was $57.15.

Troopers said the women concealed the items in their purses and exited the store without paying. Hannaford Loss Prevention stopped them in the parking lot and contacted troopers. They were released on appearance tickets for June 13in Massena Town Court.
