MADRID A Norfolk man was charged Wednesday by St. Lawrence County sheriffs deputies with felony first-degree falsifying business records and felony fourth-degree grand larceny.
Joseph W. McGregor, 25, of 1552 County Route 38, is accused by deputies of altering receipts at Waynes Salvage, where he was employed.
Deputies said Mr. McGregor stole $2,503.80 from the company from May 3 to 30.
He was arraigned in Potsdam Town Court and released to the county Probation Department.
