OGDENSBURG — A Heuvelton man was charged by St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s deputies with petit larceny on Wednesday.

Deputies said Jon L. Larue, 21, of 5701 County Route 10, exchanged seven rolls of dimes at Perry’s Bottle Redemption Center May 11 and received $35. After Mr. Larue left the store, deputies said an employee realized Mr. Larue packed the rolls with pennies instead of dimes. He was issued an appearance ticket for Oswegatchie Town Court.
