WELLESLEY ISLAND — Thousand Islands Land Trust and the New York State Zoo at Thompson Park will hold their inaugural “I Love My Park Day” event, a community cleanup effort, at the Minna Anthony Common Nature Center from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. today.

They are seeking volunteers to help clean up the trails, shoreline and museum all day.

The zoo will host a presentation and the nature center will provide lunch for all volunteers.
