Joshua D. Mantle, 23, of 314 Gale St., was arrested by city police Tuesday night after he allegedly smashed his neighbor’s grill by knocking it over.

He is charged with fourth-degree criminal mischief on a complaint filed by Thomas E. Rose II, 312 Gale St.

He was turned over to the Jefferson County Sheriff’s Department, which was holding a warrant issued in town of Theresa Court for failure to answer to a summons citing a seat belt infraction. Mr. Mantle was taken before Theresa Town Justice Roger K. Duvall and was released without bail.
