Brian J. Bates loving son of Robert J. Bates of Chaumont and Neila B. Bates passed from this life March 27, 2012.

Besides his parents , he left two sisters, Penny E. Ebbrecht and Julie A. Ebbrecht and two children Bryson and Kamryn.

He graduated with honors from Sackets Harbor High School, Potsdam State, and Clarkson College.

He married Lynn Wood of Binghamton.

He was the former employee of Booze, Allen and Hamilton Inc. of Parsippany, New Jersey.

His body has been blessed and cremated . A memorial service will be held Saturday from 2-4 and 4 P.M. at the Johnson Funeral Home, Dexter. Calling hours will be from 6:00 - 8:00 P.M. prior to the service.
