MACOMB — A Huevelton man was arrested Wednesday by St. Lawrence County Sheriff’s deputies after he allegedly tried to run over a pedestrian.

David I. Mitchell II, 41, 186 Mitchell Road, was charged with felony criminal contempt and misdemeanor menacing. Deputies said the victim had a stay away protection order when the incident occurred.

Mr. Mitchell was arraigned in Town Court and taken to the county jail on $5,000 cash or $10,000 bond.
