The Alliance for Quality Education, a union-backed group that railed against Gov. Andrew Cuomo's education cuts and Sen. Patty Ritchie's vote on the millionaire's tax, will be in Watertown on Tuesday.
They'll be here to make web videos with teachers and students, asking them how Mr. Cuomo's budget cuts will affect their schools.
Mr. Cuomo, for his part, has downplayed the effect that the roughly $1.2 billion in education cuts would have, though north country schools will cut 300 jobs, including 160 teacher positions, in total.
