Five Things to Watch

1. Lead - Clarkson has played with the lead just 25.2 percent of the time this season (in conference play) and Dartmouth has trailed just 20.5 percent of the time. Clarkson is 12-3-2 when it scores first and 2-14 when it does not.

2. Strong first period - This is somewhat related to the first point, but Clarkson is 14-3-1 if it leads or is tied after the opening period. Dartmouth is 9-0-1 when it leads after 1.

3. Special Teams - 2 power-play goals cost Clarkson last night. Dartmouth is 14-2 this year when it scores a power-play goal and just 2-7-3 if it does not.

4. Defense- The Big Green took 54 shots in a 7-1 win over Clarkson on Nov. 12. Dartmouth is 15-3-1 this year if it scores at least three goals.

5. Karpowich - This stat does not reflect only on Karpowich, but also his defensive support, but when he has a 90 percent save percentage the Golden Knights are 14-4-2. Clarkson is 0-13 when it is below 90 percent.
