Raabe wins Thunder Alley sportsman feature

EVANS MILLS — Chris Raabe took the lead on lap nine and went on to win the 20-lap sportsman feature Saturday night at Thunder Alley Speedpark. Mike Trapp finished second and Rick McCready took third.

Tony Buffa won the IMCA modified feature and Joe Garafalo took the mod lite race, Taylor Caprara beat Todd Raabe in the street stock feature and Dave Rogers and Dan Way captured the pure stock and thunder car features.

■ Watertown late model drivers Tim Fuller and Tim McCreadie finished second and third, respectively, Saturday night in the USA Nationals for late models at the Cedar Lake Speedway in New Richmond, Wisc.

■ Danny O'Brien of Kingston, Ontario, won in the 100-lap Lucas Oil Canadian DIRT Challenge Series Saturday night for 358-modifieds at the Brockville (Ontario) Speedway. Dale Hebert finished second and Kayle Robidoux took third.
