Raabe wins feature at Evans Mills

EVANS MILLS — Chris Raabe took the lead on lap nine and went on to win the 20-lap sportsman feature Saturday night at Thunder Alley Speedpark.

Jeff Rowe finished second and Rick McCready was third.

J. J. Courcy won the 15-lap IMCA modified feature with Ryan Scott and Brian Holder finishing second and third, respectively. Bruce Broedel won the mod lites feature with Jason Broedel finishing second.

Keith Doxtater captured the 20-lap street stock race. In the thunder cars 15-lap feature, Robert Martin beat Matt Marcinko.

■ Billy Decker made it two wins during the weekend when he won the big-block 35-lap feature Saturday night at the Fulton Speedway. Dale Planck finished second and Jimmy Phelps took third. Decker also won the modified feature Friday night at Brewerton.

Timmy Sears won the 20-lap sportsman feature.

■ Danny O'Brien and Matt Bellinger won the modified and sportsman features, respectively. Saturday night at the Brockville (Ontario) Speedway.

■ Tim Fuller finished 15th in the World of Outlaws Firecracker 100 for late models at Lernerville, Pa., Speedway on Saturday. Tim McCreadie of Watertown failed to make the starting field after his back-up car did not finish in the top four in his qualifying heat.
