Ekard Almond Drake, 89, Henderson

HENDERSON — Members of the Order of the Eastern Star and Rising Light Masonic Lodge will hold a memorial service for Ekard Almond Drake, 89, of 5601 Nutting Road, at 11 a.m. Monday at Henderson United Methodist Church. A celebration of life service will follow the memorial service. A reception will follow the services at Henderson Community Building. Mr. Drake donated his body to the anatomical gift program at Upstate Medical University, Syracuse. Burial will be at the family’s convenience in Adams Rural Cemetery.

Mr. Drake died Wednesday evening at Samaritan Medical Center, Watertown.

A calling hour will begin at 10 a.m. Monday at the church. Arrangements are with Carpenter/Stoodley Funeral Home, Watertown.

Instead of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Jefferson County, Henderson United Methodist Church, Belleville Eudora Order of the Eastern Star or Belleville Mason’s Rising Light Lodge.
