LOWVILLE — Rachel Kaban and Ashley Panowicz each won two individual events as Lowville beat Holland Patent 56-45 in a Frontier League interdivision girls swimming meet Tuesday.
Kaban captured the 200- and 500-yard freestyles, and also swam on the winning 200 and 400 free relays for Lowville (10-6 overall, 7-6 league); Panowicz was first in the 50 and 100 freestyles and also swam legs on the freestyle relays.
Madisyn Smith won the 100 butterfly and 100 backstroke for Holland Patent (6-6, 4-6).
WATERTOWN 101, ADIRONDACK 79
Paige LaBarr and Aubrey Kettrick each won two individual events and participated on two winning relays to propel the Cyclones past the Wildcats in an interdivision meet in Boonville.
LaBarr won the 200 individual medley and the 100 butterfly, and Kettrick won the 50 and 100 freestyles for Watertown (8-4, 8-2). Both swimmers were on the winning 200 medley and 200 freestyle relays.
THOUSAND ISLANDS 88, SOUTH JEFFERSON 75
Katharina Knapp and Kathleen Seymour each took a pair of individual races as the Vikings cruised to a "C" Division victory in Adams.
Knapp captured the 200 and 500 freestyle for Thousand Islands (12-1), while Seymour won the 200 individual medley and the 100 backstroke.
POTSDAM 102, CANTON 68
Kelsey Rimmer won the 200-yard freestyle and 500 freestyle to lead the Sandstoners to a Northern Athletic Conference Division I win over the Golden Bears.
Allyssa Chambers a 100 breast stroke win for Potsdam (7-3 overall).
Hailey Hodge paced Canton (4-6) with wins in the 50 freestyle and the first leg of the 200 medley relay and 200 freestyle relay.
